Like every year, we have had the opportunity to participate in the seminars organized by BITZER at its Rottenburg site and to learn all about new technologies and current legislation in our industry.

The SCHAUFLER Academy consists of five theoretical training rooms and three workshops with real-time simulation capabilities. Here visitors have the opportunity to see compressors in operation as they are presented by experienced BITZER engineers and technicians.

In addition to the CO2, ammonia, compressor repair and system conversion laboratories, the SCHAUFLER Academy hosts various exhibits such as compressors and interchangeable heat exchangers.

The building itself is designed for maximum energy efficiency and has won many awards for its innovative construction. It features solar panels for hot water production, underground ice storage, a BITZER compressor heat pump and a combined heat and power unit that allow temporary storage of cooling and thermal energy for greater autonomy.
